Umgababa Fishing Competition!

There will be a fishing competition happening at the Umgababa Marine Awareness Day. This is an initiative by the Ethekwini Municipality to bring tourism to the area and to create awareness of the marine environment.

Category 2 - Heaviest edible ( 1,2 & 3 prizes)

1st Prize:  2 nights getaway for 5 people to Cape Vidal and trophy

2nd Prize:  2 nights getaway for 4 people to Cape Vidal and trophy

3rd Prize:  2 nights getaway for 2 people to Midmar Resort and trophy.

This competition is open to the public and there will be prizes available. Security will be provided both on the beach and in the parking area. Municipal services will be in full force, including the Metro Police, SAP, and Ambulance services.
