After the moderately successful running of our Premier and Social League in 2009, KZN Fishing has decided to adapt this format for 2010.

After a KZN Fishing Management Meeting it was decided that we revert to the format of 2008 and also introduce some variety this year. Thus, this year will see 5 Social events and one Major Competition. This year there will also be a Junior (12 and under) and Female Division to the Social League. The Social League will remain FREE to entrants but the Major Competition will have an entry fee for all entrants.

SOCIAL LEAGUE:

The Social League will consist of the following
• 4 Day Fishing Socials followed by a Fishing Workshop to be determined by KZN Fishing Administration
• A Weekend Social in March 2010. Day entries will be allowed
• Winter Showdown in Mid Year

SCORING  AND POINTS ALLOCATION
• Measuring will be done by fellow members
• Minimum fish size will apply to ALL entrants (i.e Edibles – min 20cm and In-edibles – No Minimum Size)
• The top 10 entrants after the 6 qualifying events will be invited to a trip to the Transkei at the end of the year to fish The Final. The Prizes will be announced in due course.
