1. All MCM Rules will apply during the events in the Social League 2. Catch and Release is strongly Recommended but not enforced 3. No Gaffing of Fish Allowed. 4. Only two wet lines allowed at any time. The Angler is responsible to maintain his lines at all times and a official has the right to recall an angler to remove his line if it interferes with fishing of others. It is expected that the angler fishes with his second rod within a CONTROLLABLE distance from his other wet line. By this it is imperative that he must be able to control both his Rod’s. 5. A maximum of two hooks per trace are permitted. No treble hooks allowed 6. Anglers that fish the Winter Show Down in June 2010 will be awarded 5 Bonus Points 7. Fish will be measured and awarded points by means of weight points according to the SASAA conversion tables. A minimum size of 20cm will apply for edible points, however in-edibles have no minimum size limit for points. Points will be generated on the site and viewed on the Tuesday following the Social 8. The Anglers that finished in the top 3 positions in Last year’s Social League will have free entry into this Year’s Winter Show Down 2010 9. There will be a penalty given to any angler leaving his/her fishing spot with littered. This will adjudicated by the administrator of the league and their decision on this will be FINAL. 10 Measurement of fish will be witnessed by another Social Angler that is the closest to you and signed off. All Social anglers partaking in these events must have a tape measure in their possession. 11.The areas stipulated in the calender might be changed due to prevaling conditions 12. Assistance can be given to when tailing or landing a fish. Assistance during casting or bait preparation will be allowed. 13. All competitors must possess a valid fishing permit and bait license (if necessary), and will be required to present this during registration. 14. The league will consist of 5 social events over the course of the year. The Winter Showdown will also be used as an additional event. To compete in the Finals in November an Angler has to compete in a minimum of 4 of the 6 events. The Top 10 anglers will qualify for the Finals at the end of the year. 15. The Finals will be held in the Transkei. This year KZN Fishing will only be Hosting the 10 Finalists and the 11 members of Administration. Any other members willing to accompany the group are welcome to make their own arrangements.
